"We were looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced hotel within an easy walk to the lift line, and the Lionshead Inn fit the bill beautifully. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable, parking on site, friendly staff. There was no restaurant, but we would have eaten elsewhere anyway...the Little Diner is across the street for breakfast, and all of Vail is a short walk for dinner. The staff are so friendly, happy to accomodate requests, and caring from the heart. The location is convenient for skiing, transportation, and great food. Vail CO at such a reasonable price is the perfect match. Exercise room, fuz ball, pool table, hot tub, and free hot cookies after skiing, clean and neat. "The location is very convenient. I could go to the gondola station by 5min. walk. At the last day, a shuttle bus picked me up at 1:40 PM. The hotel allowed me extended check-out so that I could enjoy ski in the morning and change clothes in my room.
